Number Plates


We are proud to announce that we are now an official registered DVLA number plate supplier in Welling

We can supply front and rear number plates for most vehicles.

We do the standard oblong number plates with our without borders

More importantly, we can make up your vehicle number plates whilst you wait - or if you don't want to do that you can collect them later (maybe after you've done your shopping). Also if you bring in your old number plates we can pre-drill the holes for you too! There are some important things you need to know about the current laws regarding car number plates and they are listed below:

You must bring with you 1 item from SECTION A and 1 item from SECTION B as this is required by law for us to make your number plates.  These must be ORIGINAL documents. For those of you wondering why? It's an effort by the government to reduce number plate crime.

 

SECTION A - Proof of Identity

 Driving Licence  - this can be from any country so handy if you need a number plate if you are visitng from abroad

  • Bank/Building Society Statement
  • Electricity, Gas, Water Bill or Landline telephone, Council Tax bill
  • Passport - issued by any country
  • Credit/Debit card issued by a Bank or Building Society only
  • Police Warrant Card
  • Armed Forces Identity Card

  • National Identity Card

SECTION B - Proof of Entitlement
  • Registration Document (V5C) (log book)
  • Tear off slip from V5C (V5C/2) (new keepers supplement)
  • A valid authorisation Certificate (V948) - PLEASE NOTE :   This Certificate is valid for only six weeks from the date of issue,   
  • Certificate of Entitlement to a Mark (V750)
  • Cherished Transfer Retention Document (V778)
  • Road Tax Licence Renewal Letter (V11)
  • Temporary registration Certificate (V379)
  • Authorisation slip from DVLA Local Office with official DVLA stamp
  • A copy of the schedule of vehicles which has been supplied by a hire/leasing company under the hire contract agreement together with a letter of authority on company headed notepaper. This letter must quote the V5C document reference number.
